Business loans & lines of credit
A loan or credit line built around your cash flow.
A loan for a lump sum, or a line of credit you draw on as you need it. When the big banks say no, we look across a panel of 40+ lenders to find where your deal might fit.
OzCap Finance is a Sunshine Coast business finance broker, working with lenders Australia-wide. Prefer we call you? Leave your number.

Loan or credit line?
- Business loan. A lump sum, repaid over a set term. Good for a one-off need like a purchase, a job or paying out the ATO. Secured loans are often cheaper. Unsecured loans can be faster and usually cost more.
- Line of credit. A limit you draw on when you need it, for wages, stock, materials and the gap between jobs. You pay interest on what you use. Good for cash flow that goes up and down. Lines of credit often suit established turnover (some lenders look for around $500K a year, though it varies), and some lenders charge a line fee whether or not you draw.
- Short-term lending. For a clear gap with a clear way out. Some lenders can move when banks can't. It costs more. Business purposes only, and we only suggest it when it makes sense.

- It's a complex deal that doesn't fit a standard credit policy.
- You need a loan or a credit line structured around your cash flow.
When it's not the answer
- You need a personal loan or a home loan. We focus on business and asset finance.

- What the bank said
Bring what you've got, even if it's a mess.
One no isn't a verdict.
A bank's no can mean the wrong lender or the wrong structure. We can't promise a yes. We can tell you where your deal might fit.
Beyond a standard loan
Growth funding and refinancing
Sometimes the funding isn't about buying something. It's about unlocking what's already in the business, built around the business rather than picked off a shelf. What's available depends on the business, the purpose, the security and the lender.

Funding growth and expansion
A second location, a fleet rollout or working capital behind a genuine growth push is sized to what the business earns and where it's headed, not just what's on the balance sheet. It can be bigger than a standard loan and sometimes blends funding sources. Lender criteria, guarantees, security and pricing all vary.
Using equity already in an asset
If you own an asset with equity in it, that equity may be able to be turned into working capital while the business keeps using the asset: to clear an ATO debt, cover a wage run, fund a deposit or rebuild a cash buffer. Lenders look at title (or a payout figure) and whether the asset still has useful life. See sale and leaseback and capital raise for how that works.
Questions people ask
What's the difference between a loan and a line of credit?
A loan gives you a lump sum and you repay it over a set term. A line of credit gives you a limit to draw on, and you pay interest on what you use. We'll show you which suits your cash flow, and you can read more in line of credit vs term loan.
What's the difference between secured and unsecured?
Secured loans have equipment or other assets behind them, so lenders take less risk and often charge less. Unsecured loans don't, so they usually cost more and lenders can be stricter. See secured vs unsecured business loans for the detail.
Can I get a loan with ATO debt or arrears?
Sometimes. Lenders look at why it happened, how it's being managed and what's coming in. Bring the full picture, and see ATO debt restructure if the balance itself is the problem.
How much can I borrow?
It depends on your income, your security and the lender. We'll give you a realistic range after we see your file.
Do I need to put up security?
Not always. Security, like equipment, can widen your options and may lower the cost, but it also adds risk to you. We'll go through the risks with you first.
